Emily Drew Mash is a prolific artist, teacher and mother of three. She received her BFA from Wake Forest University with a concentration in printmaking. Her work is part of the permanent collection of Wake Forest University. She was an exhibiting member of Artworks Gallery in WS, NC for several years before starting a family.
Currently, she teaches at Sawtooth, and is a regular teacher with Healing through the Arts, a non-profit that provides creative opportunities for current cancer patients and their caregivers. She also leads an annual art camp for kids during the summer.
When she isn’t designing handcrafted leather goods or pattern designs, she enjoys painting in watercolor, often during her children’s nap time.
“I was born with a crayon in my hand. I have always loved to create and now I am so blessed to share my creations with others. My work is informed by this journey we call life, the trials and the blessings, and intends to offer truth and beauty.”
We feel so incredibly lucky to have Emily as a part of the Tiny Roots team. One of the things we are passionate about is bringing unique, beautiful prints to our customers so they can elevate their childrens wardrobes. Using original artwork by Emily Drew Mash allows us to do just that. You can be sure that when you purchase bamboo clothing for your children from Tiny Roots, it has been lovingly hand painted by Emily, making our clothing authentic to the Tiny Roots brand. You won't find these hand painted designs, or our attention to detail, anywhere else but Tiny Roots.
